Strawberry Sunshine Oatmeal

Oatmeal is filling and delicious, but remember to also consume some protein with your delicious, carby oatmeal. You can either stir some vanilla or unflavored protein powder into your oatmeal, or enjoy some eggs/egg whites on the side.


One serving of oats, cooked with water or desired milk, according to desired thickness.

1/2-3/4 cup diced strawberries

1-2 Tbsp orange zest

Optional additional toppings:

1-2 Tbsp of shredded coconut

1 Tbsp mini chocolate chips

Stevia or honey


Cook oatmeal with strawberries and orange zest. Or, if you make your oatmeal ahead like I do, just stir in the strawberries and orange zest before reheating. Top with additional toppings according to taste and if desired.

That's it! So simple, and so yummy. It's easy to make oatmeal tasty and interesting without adding tons of brown sugar 😉
